Polini Hi-Speed is an electronic device studied for E-bike motors with the aim to increase the pedal assist mode exploiting at all the performance that the motor can offer. The assembly takes only a few minutes. It does not require any setting because it is self-adjusting. The device does not require any battery since it is self-recharging. The speedometer will always show half of the actual speed, and the same for the Kms travelled. To know speed and kms travelled it is enough to double the figures.
HI-SPEED ACTIVATION/DEACTIVATION
On/off from the display.
- Hi-Speed ON/OFF : using the light switch: remove 1 cm of sheath from the red cable and connect it to the positive + terminal of the motor.
To turn the Hi-Speed device On or Off, use the light switch. When Hi-Speed is active, the speedometer will always show half the screen speed and kilometers traveled. If you want to know the speed and mileage, double the value. For Hi-Speed to work, the bike's light output must be activated with the SM-PCE1 interface at your dealer or, for models with Bluetooth, with the E-Tube Project Shimano app.
- Hi-Speed ALWAYS ON: remove 1 cm of cover from the red and the purple cable and connect them together (if possible, solder them with a tin soldering iron) and insulate them with the heat-shrinkable sleeve supplied.
Attention! The purple cable should NEVER be connected to the positive terminal of the + motor, the device will be irreparably damaged. With Hi-Speed always active, the speedometer will always show half the Km/h of your actual speed and the Km traveled. To find out the speed and distance traveled, just double the value.
