Polini Hi-Speed is an electronic device studied for E-bike motors with the aim to increase the pedal assist mode exploiting at all the performance that the motor can offer. The assembly takes only a few minutes. It does not require any setting because it is self-adjusting. The device does not require any battery since it is self-recharging. The speedometer will always show half of the actual speed, and the same for the Kms travelled. To know speed and kms travelled it is enough to double the figures.
HI-SPEED ACTIVATION/DEACTIVATION
To activate the Hi-Speed, press the WALK button within 15 seconds after power on and the display will show 5.0; To confirm the order, turn the bike off and on again. Hi-Speed is now active and will be active every time you start the bike (the display will show 5.0)
To deactivate the Hi-Speed, press the WALK button within the first 15 seconds after turning on and the display will show 2.5 (on some models it may show 3); To confirm the order, turn off the bike and turn it on again. Hi-Speed is now deactivated and will remain deactivated every time you start the bike (the display will show 2.5, on some models it may show 3 or 0).
The speed and distance values shown on the screen are real for Brose models, while for Mahle models they are half.
Attention: Never use the Mission Control when the Hi-Speed is installed because the manufacturer could receive a message installing a non-original part. To use Mission Control uninstall Hi-Speed.
Note: before taking the bike for service, deactivate Hi-Speed; Turn the bike off and on, remove the device and reset the TCU following the Specialized manual.
