The design of the clutch bell is based on the following principles:<br>

In high-performance racing engines, the clutch system is also subject to extreme speed loads. The centrifugal forces increase with the square of the engine speed. The reinforced cooling fin ring counteracts this load and protects the bell housing against failure.<br>
